The Chicago Hilal Committee will meet on Tuesday, September 30, 2008 (Ramadan 29, 1429) to determine the date for Eid-ul-Fitr (Shawwal 1, 1429). There will be periodic updates on this website after Maghrib (6:39pm CDT). The first update will be around 7:15pm CDT.

Eid-ul-Fitr will be on Wednesday, October 1st or Thursday, October 2nd.
