Upon the instruction of Sheikh ul Hadith Hazrat Maulana Muhammad Naeem, Institute of Islamic Education (IIE) was founded as an educational and religious non-profit Islamic Institution. It began with one student in a small house till 1994 for the memorization of the Holy Qur'an and produced 10 huffaz. In April 1994 IIE purchased a building consisting of one-acre land in Elgin, IL-25 miles west of Chicago. After remodeling the building with different facilities like a mosque to accommodate up to 100 people for prayer, four classrooms, library, kitchen, dining hall, and dormitory capacity for about 40 students. With the ever growing number of students, IIE began the girls school also. In September 1999 IIE purchased another building with 4-acre. Remodeling of the building is almost complete. The classrooms, dining room, dormitory, offices, library, book store and computer lab have been already built; the masjid work is in progress. In April 2000, male students moved to the new building and in July of the same year, school for females started in the other building with residential facilities. Alhamdulillah the number of students grows each year. |
