Sisters Weekend Shariah Course |
IIE's weekend Shariah course is structured to fulfill the needs of Muslim sisters who wish to gain Islamic knowledge on a part-time basis.
With convenient timings, dedicated teachers and authentic Islamic knowledge imparted in a traditional environment, this program hopes to provide an opportunity to develop an in-depth understanding of the Deen.

Courses:
Qur'anic Recitation and Tajweed:
This course aims to teach students the correct method of reciting the Qur'an according to the Hafs recitation style of Imam Asim Kufi. By the end of this course, students will be able to recite the Qur'an fluently while following the proper rules of Tajweed.
Hadith:
Memorization and explanation of Ahadith from Shaykh Ashiq Ilahi al-Bulandshehri's Zaadut Talibeen (Provisions for the Seekers).
Fiqh:
Students will gain knowledge of the Islamic rulings of day-to-day Ibaadat according to the Hanafi school of thought.
Arabic Grammar:
This class for beginners teaches basic grammar while incorporating vocabulary to increase proficiency in reading, writing, and understanding Arabic. Completion of the course will entail good perception of basic skills in each of these areas.
Seerah:
This course will focus on the life of the Prophet Muhammad (SAW) in great detail. Students will learn ways to better follow in his (SAW)'s blessed footsteps and will derive lessons and comfort from his (SAW)'s noble life. |

Teachers:
The Weekend Shariah Program will be taught by Alimahs who have graduated from the Shariah program offered at IIE. From the tender ages of thirteen and fourteen, they spent seven years at the madrasah studying the sacred sciences. Some concentrated exclusively on the sacred sciences while others completed high school simultaneously.
They were fortunate enough to study under Shaykhul Hadith of Darul Uloom Deoband (Waqf), Maulana Muhammad Naeem (may Allah enlighten his grave), Maulana Abdullah Saleem (db), his two sons, Maulana Ubaidullah Saleem (db) and Maulana Sulaiman Saleem (db), as well as his grandson, Maulana Yasir Nadeem (db). They were also privileged to study under Maulana Bilal Ali Ansari (db), who is a graduate of Darul Uloom, Karachi. |

Tuition:
The tuition for the entire duration of the course will be $240.00. Students will have the option of doing one payment of $240 or two payments of $120. Book fees are not included.
